BEDADKA FARMERS SERVICE CO-OPERATIVE BANK

History

Bedadka farmers service co-operative bank is the first co-operative society in Bedaduka Panchayat.It started as United Coin Co-operative Societyin 1955.Currently BFSCB is functioning as Class I Special Grade Category Farmers Bank. Today the bank has about ten thousand members and it is one of the leading Primary Agricultural Credit Unions in Kasaragd Taluk.Kudumbashree units were given loans through schemes like Mutathe Mulla, Linkage and Self-Employment through that every household got employment and relief.The bank has given assistance to enterprises like Apparel Park, Curry Powder, Nutrimix, Janakiya Hotel and Tailoring Unit from start to finish.Goat Village, Dairy Village, Poultry Farm, Small Business, EMS Housing Scheme implemented by the Panchayat have the signature of this organization.The bank has also set an example in social pension distribution, assistance during covid time and arranging online learning facilities.

Every year paddy cultivation and vegetable cultivation are done under the guidance of the bank.The bank has its own Ambulance Service, Neethi Store, Neethi Medical Store, Electronics Store, Agricultural Equipment Marketing Center, Agricultural Nursery, Vegetable stall, Farmers service center etc.All the branches have their own office building.This Co-operative Society is supporting all the rural areas of Bedadka panchayath.
